樋口宗孝がん研究基金について about unetaka Higuchi Foundation
樋口宗孝がん研究基金（MHF：Munetaka Higuchi Foundation for Cancer Awareness and Research） は、2008年11月30日、肝細胞がんで逝去した日本のハードロック界を代表するLOUDNESS（ラウドネス）のドラマーであった樋口宗孝氏の偉業を後世に伝え、日本におけるがん疾患啓発・がん研究を推進するために設立されました。
樋口宗孝氏は、日本のハードロック界を代表するドラマーであり、その存在、ドラミングは、多くのミュージシャンに多大な影響を与えました。国内に留まらず海外にも多くのファンを持ち、尊敬されたドラマーでもあります。彼の訃報は全世界のファンを始め、多くのミュージシャン、著名人にも衝撃を与えました。
Munetaka Higuchi Foundation for Cancer Awareness and Research (MHF) is a non-profit charity dedicated to fundraising for the research on the causes of human cancer, the mechanisms of carcinogenesis, as well as the development of scientific strategies for cancer prevention and control.MHF is dedicated to the original drummer, Munetaka Higuchi, of the Japanese heavy metal band, Loudness, who passed away on November 30, 2008, with hepatocellular carcinoma, a type of liver cancer.
Munetaka Higuchi is one of the most influential drummers known in Japanese heavy metal. His charismatic drumming techniques influenced many musicians and he has been called the musician’s musician. His death created a vast echo not only for Japanese musicians and fans, but for celebrities all over the world.
